We took a little history from the area when naming and designing the restaurant after the sandy hook proving grounds. established in 1874, it became the first us army proving ground to test artillery and other materials. and That's what we are all about - testing new menu items and specializing in the newest craft beer and cocktails. we like to mix it up with our events, music, and experience to always keep things fresh and fun.

This was my first time & really enjoyed the atmosphere & food. I had a seafood pot pie which was very good. Service was great and I can't wait to go back in the summertime. It was dark outside but it looks like it has an amazing outside dining area.
Wonderful place to sit outside, enjoy the views. You can get there via boat as well. There was live music playing and people dancing. The food was good. We had the Mediterranean sampler platter for an appetizer which was really delicious. I had to fish and my husband had the chicken for dinner.
Gorgeous restaurant - right on the water. I ordered the mahi mahi tacos that had avocado, cabbage and other good toppings. We got a homemade blonde ala mode for dessert that was heavenly. They also have great tasting mocktails and fantastic service.
